Mystic Roots Conference strives to create a safe, secure, and positive environment, where family and friends of all ages can come together, to learn, worship, and grow. We do not wish to prevent the enjoyment of our guests, but have put together these ground rules that we expect all our guests to adhere to. These rules have been put in place for the safety of our guests, the conference site, and the general enjoyment of all attendees. Those who do not respect the rules of the conference will be asked leave immediately without refund. It is the responsibility of each and every person attending Mystic Roots Conference to conduct themselves in an appropriate and responsible manner.

1.
  All minors (18 and under) must be accompanied by a parent and/or legal guardian.
     
2.
  Smoking is not permitted within the hotel (unless you have a smoking room). Please use the butt cans provided at all hotel exits.
     
3.
  Please refrain from drinking before Rituals to show respect to our Deities and others. This is to show respect to all involved in the festival and those sharing their workshops.
     
4.
  No pictures should be taken with out prior consent. This includes Rituals and group pictures.
     
5.
  All guests must abide by all federal, provincial, and municipal laws. These include, but are limited to, no weapons , no underage drinking, no illegal substances, and no public nudity.
     
6.
  No unruly, inappropriate or sexually aggressive behavior will be tolerated; The consequence of not abiding by these laws or the rules of the conference will result in immediate removal without refund from Mystic Roots Conference.
     
7.
  No paid "readings" are allowed. Commercial activity is limited to that of registered merchants, which are located in the Churchill Room.
     
8.
  Ritual robes and special clothing are encouraged; please remember that this is a public hotel and dress accordingly. Ritual blades must be sheathed, peace-bonded, and visible while carried to and from rituals. Blades are not to be used or worn outside of ritual.
     
9.
  There is no drumming is permitted in public areas within the hotel. There will be a drum circle on both nights in the SUMMERSET Hall, and will continue into the wee hours.
     
10.
  Our membership is diverse. We do not discriminate against anyone on the basis of age, race, gender, religious tradition, sexual identity, or disability.
     
11.
  The view of the presenters, and or available merchandise, do not necessarily reflect the opinion(s) of the Mystic Roots Conference, and/or their commitee.
     
12.
  Mystic Roots Conference reserves the right to deny entry, or remove from convention facilities any person who, in the conference’s sole and absolute discretion, is behaving or threatening to behave in a manner disruptive to the convention.
     
13.
  Mystic Roots Conference name tags are required to attend all conference events except the merchant area.
