Is the cost of the hotel room included in the Conference price?

No. The conference is a separate entity from the hotel. You will be required to book your own hotel room, however we have negotiated an amazing price for our attendees. Click here for more details.


Do I need a credit card to book the room? Is there a booking fee?

No you DO NOT require a credit card in order to book the room, you will just need to arrive by a certain time to check-in. You will also be required to provide a credit card #, or place a $50 deposit upon check-in, which will be deducted from your bill upon check-out. There are NO booking fees, so call and book your room as soon as possible to ensure availability, and be guaranteed our amazing rate.


When I pre-register will I get mailed tickets?

No. We will look you up on our guest list by the name you pre-registered under.


Can I pre-register, then pay at the door?

If you fill out and submit the form online, you must also submit payment before the pre-reg cutoff date in order to receive pre-reg pricing. If you send in your form and intend on paying at the door, you will be expected to pay the "at the door" pricing.


I am having problems with the online forms, how can I register?

If you are a "Guest" you can complete your paper work when you arrive at the conference. However payment should be made asap to ensure you get the best rate. If you are a "Vendor" or would like to present a "Workshop", you can simply send over your details in an email to .


What happens to the registration form when I mail it in or if I fill it out online?

All registration forms are received by the registrar and are stored on file for analytical data for future conferences up to a period of 2 years.


Do I need to sign up for specific classes?

No. Your badge will gain you admittance to all Mystic Roots functions, however, there may be a few classes that will have materials fees. These will be identified in the class description on the website and in the program book. If a class has limited attendance there will be a sign-up sheet at the "Registration" desk, or will be based on a first come, first served basis.


Will there be Vending available?

Yes. Vending will be available in the Merchant Room on Friday, Saturday from 9am-6pm (with the option of a "Midnight After hours Sale") and Sunday 10am-4:30pm. A listing of vendors will be provided in the program. Click here for more details.


Do you have child care?

No. We are not licensed or inspected and cannot provide child care.


How do I feed myself during the weekend?

The hotel has a wonderful inhouse restaurant called Chelsea's that has a full menu as well as offering a special Hot Breakfast Buffet for our attendees from 9-2pm both Saturday and Sunday which is included in the price of your room. We also reccommend their famous homemade burger on a ciabiatta bun with fries and a beer for only $9.99 (pop $6.99), YUMMY! In the foyer there is also listings of local area restaurants & take aways. You may also pack a cooler. NOTE: There is a fridge and microwave in all hotel rooms.


Will there be options at the dinner for those with diet restrictions?

Since we will be having a buffet dinner there will be an exquisite selection to choose from. However if you have a severe restriction/allergy, simply add a comment to your registration to let us know. The hotel is certainly willing to accommodate all of our guests needs.


Can kids attend the Dinner? What is the Cost?

Yes children are allowed to join us for dinner. All meals for young children are available for a discounted price.


Can I donate food to the Hospitality Suite?

Yes, please limit your donations to fruits with peels, chips, desserts or the like. We cannot accept any donations that need to be heated or cooked.


How will I know if a class has been moved or cancelled?

There is a bulletin board at the Registration desk that will have announcements of any changes to the schedule along with a daily grid.
